Two Chicago DJ’s you may have heard of who roll by the name The Hood Internet have been working hard at the art and science of the mash-up, spinning party music since 2007. The Hood Internet are constantly publishing their mixes on the real Internet, but are taking a more organic, in-studio approach for their upcoming album.

In this exclusive CHIRP podcast, the group talks to CHIRP Radio’s Justin Savage about the difference between playing shows around the world, or just around the block.

The Hood Internet’s Steve Reidell will be a live guest DJ on CHIRP on Kristin Mark’s show TODAY (12/28) from 2-3pm. During the hour, two pairs of 2-day passes to this weekend’s SOLD OUT New Years Eve show at Lincoln Hall will be given away!
