02.16.10 • Yeah! Spring 2010 CHIRP Record Fair… & Other Delights

This April, the CHIRP Record Fair & Other Delights returns for its 8th year! We moved into a new home last year, the Chicago Journeymen Plumbers Union, and it was a big hit with dealers and patrons alike! We are super excited to be back again this year.

One change for this year is that table rentals will be for both Saturday and Sunday. There will be no single day tables.

Other than that, nothing has changed! As we have been doing for the past seven years, we’ll offer up an amazing selection of vinyl, CDs, posters, ‘zines, artwork, and crafts. This event is paradise for music lovers, with vendors offering everything from rock and pop to psychedelia and folk, soul and jazz to country and international, house and hip-hop to rockabilly and R&B, and even more. You can ﬁnd plenty of rarities, and other stuff that’s just outright weird! There will also be tons videos, DVDs, posters, artwork, and lots of other things you don’t even know you want yet!

We’ll also have special guest DJs and a few live bands providing music all weekend long. Keep checking the website – An updated schedule of bands and DJs will be posted regularly.

The 2010 CHIRP Record Fair & Other Delights will be back at the Chicago Journeymen Plumbers Union on April 10-11, 2010! If you want to get on the mailing list as a potential vendor or if you just want to get on the mailing list, email Mary Nisi. We will be sending out contracts in early 2010. See you there!

Donate Your Records to CHIRP • Have you been thinking of getting rid of your collection of old vinyl? We have a solution! You can donate your unwanted records to the Chicago Independent Radio Project. Free up some space and help bring a new community radio station to Chicago! We can even arrange pick-ups.
